Academic at Marmara University, Department of Restorative Dentistry

Born in 1984, İzmir/Bornova. Graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Dentistry in 2008. Defended his doctorate thesis regarding ‘Quantitative assessment of dimensional alterations of worn incisors’ at Marmara University, Health Sciences Institute in 2015 and got ‘PhD’ and ‘Restorative Dentistry Specialist’ titles. Has been working as an academic in Marmara University, Faculty of Dentistry since 2015. Gained the ‘Associate Professor’ title in 2022. He has many national and international scientific publications about tooth wear, diagnosis and management of dental caries, pre-restorative treatments, direct and indirect restorations, dental photography, tooth bleaching, caries management, and magnification in dentistry. He has participated in several national and international scientific meetings as a keynote speaker and has received many scientific presentation awards. He has also participated as an instructor in more than 100 restorative hands-on courses about anterior and posterior direct/ indirect restorations and dental photography since 2015. He is the writer of the best-seller ‘Composite Restorations in Anterior Esthetics’ book published by Quintessence Publishing Türkiye in 2022. The second edition was published in 2024 and the English version was also published in the same year by Quintessence Deutschland. He is a Bio-Emulation group member. He is a GC Europe Restorative Advisory Board Member. He is also a key opinion leader of several leading international dental companies such as Hu-Friedy Group, Tokuyama, GC, Dentsply Sirona, Align Technology, Polydentia, iVeneer, and Horico. He is a certified Invisalign provider and a board member of EDAD.
