Dr. Chakalov was born in 1974 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Graduates in 1993 from the French Language High school and in 1999 Dental medicine in the Faculty of Dental Medicine – Sofia. Since 2001 he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthetic dentistry of the same Faculty. In 2001, 2003 specializes prosthetic and aesthetic dentistry with Prof. Jean-François Lasserre in the University of Bordeaux, France. In 2007 becomes a co-founder of the Sofia Dental Meeting – one of the biggest dental congresses in Eastern Europe. In 2014 acquired PhD, thesis: “Wear of dental materials – in vitro studies”.
Since 2001 – his own private practice and since 2013 – own dental clinic – Comfort Dent in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Dr. Chakalov has lectured internationally at the ADF Congress, Paris, AEEDC, Dubai, in the University of Bordeaux, France and the University of Chiasso, Switzerland.
