Assoc. Prof. Dr. Petya Pechalova is a Master of Dental Medicine, Medicine and Health Management. Specialist in two dental areas – oral surgery and facial surgery. Acquired PhD degree, thesis:  “Application  a cytokine RANKL/OPG system in  immunohistochemical and immunoenzymatic studies of radicular cysts“.
Associate Professor in the Department of Oral surgery. Deputy Dean of  the Faculty of Dentistry at the Medical University in Plovdiv.
Assoc. Prof. Pechalova has authored more than 60 scientific articles.
Member of “Aperito Journal of Oral Health and Dentistry” (USA), ISSN: 237 editorial board.
