Assoc. Prof. Miroslava Dinkova graduated the FDM, Sofia in 1978. Her second Master’s degree in Business Administration she graduated in 2005 at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Burgas.
Assoc. Prof. Dinkova has 4 specialties – Prosthodontic Dentistry and orthodontics, 1987, Pediatric Dentistry, 1993, Health management, 2005, and General Dentistry 2005.
Since 1989 she is an assistant in the Department of “Pediatric Dentistry”, FDM, Sofia. Since 1993 she is an assistant, and since 2015 – an Associate Professor at the Department of “Orthodontics”, FDM, Sofia.
Since 1993 she has private practice and since 2003 she is a manager of own “Dental Center of Orthodontics”.
In 2005, at the Faculty of Social Sciences, she defended a thesis on “Strategy for Development of Dental Centre in orthodontics”.
In 2013 she acquired educational and scientific degree “Doctor” on dissertation “Management of orthodontic treatment in adults with periodontal problems in the frontal teeth” at FDM, Sofia.
She has participated in 26 international qualification “Hand-on” courses in orthodontics, over 60 theoretical and practical training certificated courses and dozens of lectures in Europe, USA and Asia.
She is a director of two qualified theoretical-practical courses in orthodontics and 4 lectures, accredited by BgDA, included in the program for postgraduate training of dentists; courses in the field of Adult Orthodontics; 3D digital technology in orthodontics; Manual and virtual set-up and indirect positioning of brackets; Invisible orthodontics and 3D digital archive.
Assoc. Prof. Dinkova is an active member of World Society of Lingual Orthodontics /WSLO/; member of Bulgarian Dental Association /BgDA/, Bulgarian Orthodontic Society /BOO/, Bulgarian Society of Dental Medicine /BSDM/, Bulgarian Study Club of Lingual Orthodontics /BSCLO/; Balkan Stomatological Society /BaSS/, European Orthodontic Association /EOS/, World Federation of Orthodontics /WFO/, Italian Society of Orthodontics /SIDO/, Association of health managers.
She is a Co-founder and Chairman of Bulgarian Study Club of Lingual Orthodontics /BSCLO/, active from 2009 and Vice-Consul of BaSS since its creation till now.
Assoc. Prof. Miroslava Dinkova has over 120 scientific papers published in national and international specialized journals. She has participated in more than 75 scientific congresses and conferences, 35 of which are international.
