Treatment planning with the aid of CBCT – an interactive presentation

The implementation of the cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) in
dentistry has essentially improved the diagnosis and therapy especially in endodontics. CBCT can identify the presence and location of periapical lesions and root resorptions more accurately then standard periapical radiographs.

This additional information allows a more accurate diagnosis and treatment planning with a more specific prognosis for the patient.

In this interactive presentation the audience can choose their treatment plans before and after CBCT and the results will be presented immediately.

The aim of this presentation is to highlight the advantages of the use of CBCT in diagnosis and therapy of endodontic pathologies.
