Anaftin® is a range of medical devices for treatment of minor mouth lesions. The products from Anaftin® range contain polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and hyaluronic acid which form a protective film that adheres to the oral cavity, ensuring a mechanical barrier to the affected areas. Thus relieving the pain caused by the exposed nerve endings. The hyaluronic acid and Aloe vera in the formulation support the natural healing of the damaged tissues.
Anaftin® helps in the management of pain caused by small lesions in the mouth, such as those due to aphthous stomatitis, aphthous ulcers, as well as decubital lesions from braces and ill-fitting dentures. It is also indicated for diffuse aphthous ulcers. The products from Anaftin® range are offered in broad spectrum of different forms to meet the different patients’ needs:
