Drug-induced osteonecrosis of the jaw
The modern pharmaceutical industry produces a variety of drugs to control diseases previously considered incurable. Besides their healing features, the drugs also have some side effects that lead to injuries in the jaw. The lecture discusses the causes of drug-induced osteonecrosis of the jaw, pathogenesis of the disease, clinical signs and preventive measures in patients undergoing treatment with suspicious drugs, likewise the treatment of already affected patients.
